ASLMS Annual Meeting
Dr.’s Marina and Richard E. Buckley recently attended the annual meeting for the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) in Dallas, TX.
World experts at the annual scientific meeting shared the latest advances and best practices in lasers and emerging technologies. Physician experts from all over the world came to share their techniques and the research results. Topics such as Photodynamic Therapy, non-surgical face, neck and eyelid rejuvenation, treatment of pre-cancerous and cancerous skin conditions and aging skin were covered. Novel laser application techniques were discussed, including SmartLipo which can be used to sculpt away unwanted fat anywhere on the face and body.
The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery was founded in 1980 to promote excellence in patient care by advancing clinical application of lasers and related technology. “We like to introduce proven new methods of treatment into our practice so they are available to the people of Pike County” says Dr. Richard E. Buckley. Last year’s conference presented Radiofrequency technology using ThermaCool to treat eyelid sagging.
